Staircases: Ribbon

I really geek out when boring everyday items are reexamined and really mixed up. Especially stairs- so I’ve decided to feed my obsession and do a weekly post of fabulous stairs. Thomas Heatherwick is the designer we are starting out with.
How much fun? Thomas mentioned in an article that he wanted people to lose the sense of the stairs and really feel the motion of the ribbon. So great. I love. Check out more of his amazing out of the box designs Heatherwick Studios.
