Mad Men Season Open

Well- did you watch? The 5th season opening of Mad Men? If not- get on it. My household had a little get together with cocktails, flowers and finger sandwiches. My man and I LOVE hosting- thinking up theme, making list for all the food, prepping for drinks. I love that he loves it!

Classy cream cheese cucumber finger bites with a bit of dill. This was all Bruno (the boyfriend) from conception to presentation. So much detail.

I made these roast beef open face sliders. Sauce = dijon, horseradish and a little bit of mayo.  Add some pesto pasta salad, chicken salad and some old fashions and you have our evening. Sundays have become my favorite night of the week. Spending time with my nearest and dearest watching an amazingly beautiful show.
