Happy start so summer

Happy Memorial day everyone! The beginning of summer… an extra day of fun in the sun and a time to reflect on people who have given their time and passion in hopes to make this country a little bit better. These photos are of my grandfather (Bimpa) when he was stationed in Hawaii after pearl harbor. The little folder my grandma kept all these keepsakes in gave way to many hidden secrets. For instance, he was the drummer of the band The Sleepy Stars! Who knew. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I spent mine having a few cocktails with friends, making s’mores and taking a ‘stab’ at my mans new throwing knives. Yes…. you read correctly. I’m getting pretty good.
