Getting to the root of the problem
September 18, 2012
Yes, it’s true: succulents have died under my care. Everyone’s retort is that they are so easy… in turn makes me feel even worse. I had all but given up until I saw a hanging bulb with a plant and a beautiful structure of roots. How is this done? Rather.. what plant will do this. I have tried with my one hanging plant (that i almost fried leaving out in the LA sun for a day) but with no root growth. Will someone clue me in? It’s far to pretty for me to pass up.

Perhaps a terrarium might be easier to manage? They look great and I think they begin to sustain themselves after awhile, but I’m not sure. Good luck and don’t worry, I’ve killed many a plant myself. It happens.
