Autumn upon us

The autumn solstice is almost upon us and like so many others; it’s my favorite season of the year. Maybe it’s because of my birthday later on or maybe it’s because the change of color and overall different feeling in the air. This little poem expresses my love so perfectly. NOT that I want fires in SoCal (it’s a big issue) but would love to wander some Michigan woods and smell the glorious aroma of burning leaves and have them crunch under my feet. cheers to the harvest.
