Washed over in White

May 2, 2011

In recent weeks I have taken to really studying interior photography. Getting down deep to know what it is about it that moves me and try to learn from it.  Developing as an artist/creator/stylist is something to be done everyday.

The cabinet is the real focal point of this image, as it should be. By keeping all the different layering textures white it allows you to appreciate all the simple detail of the piece. Natural wood draws your eye throughout the frame letting you inspect every detail.

Breakfast for one. Love the repetitiveness of stripes and the white texture.

Interrupted moments are my bread and butter. I love feeling like someone catching you spying on them. Such nice little details.

Seeing many different views into different rooms gives such depth. Better understanding of the actual space and relation.

Whatcha think?
