Candles in vintage goblets

April 18, 2013

Candles are a tricky subject for me. The flickering of the frame certainly sets the mood but the majority of the time the smell is overwhelming or the container is just pure ugly.  OR if you own cats they become quite curious and may set their tail on fire (True story). Well it’s true for most but Waverly and Irving is an exception. Hand-made in Brooklyn with vintage American glassware. The colors are stunning. There is nothing more to be said! Though it’s true I may have a slight obsession with vintage table home goods. I do work at a vintage plate rental company (you should check out the sale on One Kings Lane). And after it’s all burned up you could reuse the vessel for flowers, wine or a little not so amazing tea candle. They even come with a book of matches!
